From now on you can cycle trees on the Ruhr Valley cycle path!

A very special campaign awaits you in the anniversary year 2026: Cycle for trees!

Cycle the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path and make your contribution to climate protection! You cycle, we plant a tree - it's easy.

The concept is simple: For every cyclist who rides the RuhrtalRadweg over a distance of 240 kilometers, a tree will be planted in Winterberg as part of the
"Planting today for tomorrow" campaign.

To prove that you have cycled the entire route, there is a code at the start and end points. You will find the sticker with the title "Erradeln Bäume" on the information boards at the starting point in Winterberg and at the end point in Duisburg at the Duisburg inner harbor. You can submit the code you receive digitally at the end of your trip. The code word works both if you cycle the route from the source to the mouth and vice versa.

As a small thank you and a memento, you will receive a certificate of your tree sponsorship from us at the end.
